Today's display (stiletto theme and ES's permanent place of honor):

Funny. Visitors don't seem to notice the knives. Or, if they do then they don't mention it. Which reminds me of a small US Bank in Eastern Oregon that has a huge gold nugget, with lots of other lesser raw gold, in a glass display case. The large, pyramidal-shaped nugget, is about the size of a normal foot. You ask a clerk where the gold is and they have to ask someone else...

Thank you for looking and thanks to my lovely wife for donating the space and for her understanding/coping skills.

Very nice knives you have there, congratulations and thanks for sharing. Ed's full size Persian is perhaps the best looking knife Spyderco ever made so far. And the stilletos are not bad at all: I've seen some titanium and Damascusthere (although I was particularily impressed by that swinguard on the right side :)

Thank you for looking and for the kind words dialex.

I feel fortunate to own the full-sized Persian (thank you bh49 for your encouragement and enthusiasm). Ed had one for sale at OKCA this spring. His son's flint knaping work was stunning. I've never seen anthing like it. Talent and skill run in the family.

The swinguard is a Frank Beltram, backlock, with black micarta scales.

The stiletto form is one of my favorites to collect. For years I've been hoping that Spyderco would produce a knife in the stiletto form.

I usually don't display the knives but I've been encouraged by a few people close to me to get them out where everyone can see them. I rotated the display today.

Well, there would be the Spyderco - Zowada. It is as much a stilletto as a Spyderco can be... ;)

C56 Tim Zowada: A model I have overlooked. Wow!

Thank you kindly for the photo.

AUS 8 and then later VG 10 liner-lock, small thumb hole. Were they all micarta?

:D AFAIK the Tim Zowada was made only with Micarta scales.

Oh, and there is also the C25 and the C50 Centofante - those are also (somehow) stiletto shaped: See here: (http://www.spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37783) ;)
