Finally getting around to recording my books, giving up on my sister doing it for the larger part of my xmas gift.
Looking for software that I can just scan the barcode and have it feed back the book info. I had set up Libra before on my surfing tower but can't get it to run right now on this laptop.
I'd prefer free, but am willing to pay a small fee if needed. Any ideas?

guess I'm tossing linux on this box I've got to rebuild (had a couple K8 boards laying around and got a "new" amd 3400+ processor off ebay. known working psu/ram/HD takes it down to either mobo or cpu).
if anything I'll build another mini-ITX box for the library reference for a couple hundred bucks.
I didn't even think of looking through the linux lists :o
edit: well, according to the ubuntu hardware compatability list, this mobo should work with ubuntu

well, I love it when stuff works.
Fired the new mobo up, everything booted (HD was from a media box I had tossed under the TV for a while). Updated the antivirus, start to update windows and it bluescreened. Boot again, let it sit without an issue for 10-15min, go to update windows and it bluescreened again.
Ubuntu 7.10 cd in now, but the 1gb of ram isn't exactly fast :p
