My SkeletoolCX Rides in the front of my right hand pocket everyday, and my red ALOX pioneer rides in the left pocket next to my wallet

I'm and office guy so I usually don't need the "big" tools. I find a Leatherman Micra is perfect for my environment and I literally use it everyday.

I loved my skeletool, until it got lost/stolen.

The SOG Powerlock I replaced it with is a beast, but it's too heavy for EDC. I only carry it when I know I'm going to need it.

Other than that, a leatherman micra or squirt E4 is usually in my pocket.

Leatherman Fuse. It has all the basics that I need. I work at a big box home improvement store, so if I need a saw or file I can get one pretty quickly. Not having to walk halfway across a 94,000 square foot store to get some pliers is priceless!

SOG Powerlock, everyday.

Well.....it's lightweight compared to all the tools I would have to carry in it's place.

I carry a Leatherman SURGE everyday. If not the SURGE, it's a Charge TTi. I also have a SOG Powerlock S62 EOD, but I find the internal impliments less then optimal, so it sees almost zero time on my belt.

Oh, you said lightweight multitools. :p Sorry, but the Charge TTi is the lightest I use! :D

The Leatherman Micra is great. About the size of the SAK keychain knife, but about 100 times the tool. I has a pair of scissors that function much better than the SAK, plus several screw drivers that can actually be used. Watch for the Boulder City Ebay sales and pick up a handful for $20 or so.

In my bag is a cheap freebie multitool, because airport security took my Gerber away when I forgot it was in the bag

I carry one of my three 111 mm Victorinox (Trekker, German Army Knife or a Parachutist) one hand opening lock blade multi tools on my belt daily. I find pliers based multis way too heavy and bulky to EDC and I've tried em all, so no pliers please. I also carry a Vic Executive in my right hand front pocket for smaller jobs and for use around PITA sheeple and it's scissors work just fine thank you.
Cheers,
Rob

I carry a p-38 on my keychain. It has to be the lightest multi-tool on the market right now

Excuse the slight hijack- but how do people carry these things? Do you tape the blade down? The ones I have are always flopping open and catching on things. So I never carry them outside of a kit because the last thing i want is it ripping my gear...

The LM Squirt E4 is the lightest I carry, gotta have those wirestrippers.

Then my main multitool is usually either the 2nd gen spyderench or a LM charge.

I guess technically this isn't lightweight, but with it's Kydex sheath, I hardly notice it's even there. I EDC the SpydeRench at my appendix, angled slightly upwards:

I have a wave, but i feel its to heavy to be clipped on pocket.

in these modern tech times we live in..carrying a MT has almost become an aspect of style..not just a tool but an accesory..if you look at the Skeletool CX,its very useful, along with the CF,the tungsten coating and better bladesteel, but the standard Skeletool can do exactly the same as the CX version.

Skeletool CX. Has the tools I use the most without the extra weight. Enthusiastic Two Thumbs Up!

Besides my Sage I carry:

LM Wave
Gerber Artifact
Pocketwrench II

I know the Wave isn't that small, but with a bit of tweaking I barely notice it's even there.

I have a Gerber Curve on my keychain. Bottle opener (The tool I use the most on it), a couple of screwdrivers, and a dinky blade. I wouldn't mind a can opener or something else in its place.

Rubber band or small o-ring. Holds up better than tape.

For "lightweight" multitools, I EDC...

- The Leatherman Micra: Cool little tool with nice scissors and some handy accessories.

- The Leatherman Skeletool: I like what Leatherman has done with this! Rides nicely in the rear position of my LFP and is a daily backup to my Leatherman Super Tool 200.

- The Leatherman Pulse: More of a medium-size tool, it is roughly the size and weight of a Skeletool, but has the standard design of a Leatherman multitool and with the typical compliment of accessories. It doesn't clip to the pocket, thus I carry it on my belt as needed.

i'm down to a swisstech microplier and gerber artifact combo.
but of course there's always an eveready pliertool for bigger quick fixes.

compared with price its ok,its a smart idea but quality its poor in my point of view. I think a very nice light tool its juice leatherman, i mean a right dimension tool safety for daily scopes not so weak compared with measure.
