The only space needed in the whole thing is the one between the "a" and the "href" the others are just there so you can see the code.
If you wanna see what it looks like here is an example (edit this post to see what it looks like)

Oh yeah if you have an image in your sig using the image codes, and you don't put the < / a> after the URL code, it will combine the image and URL codes making the image a link.

Try height and width and 1 space between the two. Or you can use percentages but always remember to inclose them with quotes! Have fun!
