MDS steel?

looking at the kitchen knives and saw the homemaker. Says that it has "New MDS stainless steel". Could someone tell me more about this?

Hi Mschwoeb. MDS is the same as MBS-26, but with .8 Carbon. It will get very sharp, but stay as sharp for as long as MBS-26.

W're testing it as a kitchen knife steel.

Will this new steel rust more easily?

Some laws permit, what honor dose not.

Rust resistance is about the same as MBS-26, which is quite good.
