New handles for micro dyad...

Gonna be having Santa Fe Stoneworks do some custom micro dyad handles for me. Nice thing about living in santa fe is you can just walk into the shop. Very nice people, they speak highly of you Deacon. I want the micro dyad in a black handle material. I've always liked black handles for spyderco's.

Something like Micarta?

Well I was thinking micarta and or g10. They have "on hand" some stone type black materials. So I'm thinking of taking apart some knives I don't like/carry and giving them the g10/micarta material.

Ebony is also a nice and smooth black wood and makes a good handle material.

Yeah they have plenty of natural stuff, but I've always felt a true spyderco is synthetic and black, or SS. I started collecting in the 90's so i've gotten used to that. So much of there stuff back than was that, almost all FRN. But I think ebony would be super cool too. Stone does feel nice.

If you feel like a micarta handled Dyad, just pony up for the Mini Dyad. I'd get something really exotic if I was putting new scales on a Micro.

Yeah, I already have the mini dyad, and a FRN one. I've decided to go with the Jet stone for the micro dyad. It'll make it a nice solid black color. I'm dropping it off with them tomorrow.
