Wow. Now that's a lot of beans! Best wishes to you, KK. Needless to say, I'll be very jealous when you get it!

Rules!

I'm gonna do it to!

I cancelled all my other orders except for the ones I get for free (b-day)

And if I like it enough I might save up another 350

Way to go KK!, that is some serious green suff for a production folder. It looks like a great knife. Now called "traker"? Hope you do a lot of big game hunting. Seems like the ultimate skinner.

Well, that lynx/ocelet/trakk'r prototype won't be like the production version. So, it'll have added value because of that. That is, unless Sal decides that it's worth a sprint run with similar materials to the prototype

It's not a production folder. The 20 knives that have been made are prototypes. They are not handmade but, iirc, hand assembled and fitted. The first ten have black G-10 scales and the last ten have green-over-black G-10. The black shows thru the green where the pugs have been cut out.

If you have the beans they are well worth it. IF you can still find one. I'm going to wait for the production versions to come out before I add another one to my collection. I carry #17 for my EDC. Great size and the pugs keep the other people thinking it's just a "cute" knife.

I'm getting it because I wanted a Wegner design, and found out about this and the paws So when I found out it was in FRN I was crushed, so now I must get two in G-10. One for display, one for carry.

Pyrguy:
Thanks for the info. I am not a collector so did not know. Although very attractive, this seems to be a big folder with a specific purpose. As your EDC, what do you us it for mostly?

Sheesh I am in the second thoughts stage...
I mean 350 big ones for a knife I would be afraid of carrying and using due to the fact that I wouldn't wanna mess it up, even if it is covered by a warranty.

Maybe when I can procure 350 dollars faster but right now..unh-unh

Now I am leaning towards two Militaries.

I wirk in an ofice so it mostly opens envelopes, boxes and such. I've pealed apples, oranges, cut bagels. Just the run-of-the-mill things you use a knife for. It's really not that big, about the size of a Lumm folder. Just a little bigger than a Delica.

It just gets a lot of attention for the "cool foot prints". The wife and I raise ragdoll cats so the pugs fit with us.

I really got the knife for it's cute factor. That and the fact that it's smaller than the large Wagner, had G-10 scales, BG42 blade, compression lock, double nested liners, Tim designed it, Sypderco made it and it had 003 on the blade.

That one stays in the case. It only comes out for a cleaning every so often.
