Serrated vs Plain?

Serrated vs plain which one keeps its edge better, new to the knife thing i've had my endura serrated, which is VERY dull now, for about 5 years , looking to purchase another , i think the steve vaile not sure which edge to buy... thnx for the help

A serrated edge will stay sharp 50% longer than a plain edge. Get yourself a Spyderco Triangle Sharpmaker and you'll be able to bring that edge back on you 5 year old Endura. Either that, or send it in to Spyderco's warranty department and they will make it at sharp as new. Sharpening is free.....cost to you for shipping will be $5.00.
