Just got an aluminum Cricket! And now a question.

I know there were sound business reasons for discontinuing the aluminum Cricket in favor of the FRN model, but what a shame!



Comparing the two (the FRN Cricket was one of my first Spydies, and still a favorite), I noticed that the blade shape was changed slightly between the two models. Can you offer some insight as to the reasoning behind the modification?

Hi Dave. Just the necessary changes to make the new parts fit. the FRN model has a nested linerlock with ball bearing, cdatching a very thin blade. lots of tweaking.
