I finally found the MOUSE and that was after looking everywhere on the net for a dealer who carried it. Why the short supply? Why, it's not even on Spyderco's product listing on this site? Is it a discontinued model? Enlightenment is requested?

Barn, the Mouse is produced exclusively for Tim Wegner of Blade-Tech which is why it doesn't appear in the Spyderco cattledog. Tim does seem to have given it to a few dealers but not many. Hope this helps.

We have Mice in stock. Many thanks to Zen Imports and Blade Tech.We were also offered some from generous US dealers.Again thanks.
Sometimes I think we're forgotten about Downunder, but then things like this happen.

Spoke with Tim last week and he had them in stock. You can reach him at www.blade-tech.com or 253-581-4347. MSRP is $89.95.

He's expecting them to sell well throughout the holiday season. The December issue of PLAYBOY had it featured in their "must have toys" section.

I'd like to express my thanks to everyone for clearing up the Mouse mystery!

PS. I've got that (excuse me) god awful Vegemite in my fridge for my son, so we have "embraced" the Aussie Culture for sure and my limited number of friends there as well. Hope one day to visit.

LOL Many years ago I was backpacking in Europe and often had Americans ask me if they could taste my Vegemite. I still remember the stunned looks on their faces, I think they expected it to taste like "jelly" .

I hope you do get a chance to visit someday, Barnaby. I think you'll find that there is much more to Australia than Vegemite, thank goodness .

Hi Barnaby. Welcome to the Spyderco forum. Great place to visit. We seem to have a very knife knowledgable group around here.
