I always check the "stay logged in" box when I sign in here, but it seems that I always have to re-login regardless if I come back even 10 minutes later.

I have looked in the user control panel for a setting to adjust but can't find anything. Anyone have any solutions? BTW, this is the only forum where this happens. I belong to about 10 other forums, and have never had this issue.... I don't have to sign back in on those forums unless my cookies get cleared.

I'm sure it's just soemthing small I am overlooking, but can't find it on my own

Go to your browser's privacy setting and delete any cookie from spyderco.com, you may have a corrupted one.

I went to internet options/privacy tab clicked on "sites" and added spyderco.com to allow all cookies and havent had that problem since.

The clearing of cookies doesn't seem to have worked. I do feel like it must be something cookie related.

Thanks for the advice Tank... I was thinking of trying that, but wasn't sure if it would work. Looks like it might be the ticket if it worked for you! I'll post the result, if for no other reason than to have this thread as reference in case others have the same problem.

Don't have any specific advice, beyond what's already been given.

Do have a suggestion for anyone needing help with any computer related issue:

It's kind of like knives - the more information you provide as to "what" you're using the greater the chance of getting helpful information. OS, browser, installed add-ons if your browser has them, AV/AS/firewall software, and whether you're home or at work - all those things can be, and almost always are, relevant.

What The Deacon said. For example if you use Spybot and CCleaner, either one can clean out your cookies if you don't adjust your settings.

For this particular case, one has to guess that a antispyware or anti-virus program is scrubbing the cookie folder because the required log in is hit or miss for the op. :)
