I have bad news for him. That isn't a Ti Police. It is a Tufram coated Aluminum Police. If I was a member there, I'd post to tell him that.

Thanx aj, Got a PM to him about the Harpy. Already got one, but...at that price...?

How do you tell that it is a Tufram coated Aluminum Police? Not doubting you, my only Police is one of those also. I just don't know how to tell the difference when compared to other versions. I AM a member there.
Edit: Changed my mind on the Harpy when he raised the price to cover shipping and Paypal. No mention of that in the sales thread. Plus his attitude seems a bit...off. Or maybe it's just me.
"I assume you want that shipped so send $xx.xx to ..."

The Police shown in the picture is definitely a C07SATU Police Tufram coated Aluminum, IIRC produced from 1993-1994 as I can't see an engraved "Police" on the blade (this was in 1995 only). It is not the Titianium model!

The Ti-Police was a right hander and I'm still looking to see a lefty model for the first time. I assume they exist, but where to see?

This pic? Nowhere near all the Police variations, but there is one right-hand Ti and two RH Tufram Aluminum in there.

The Ti is next to the G-10 in the middle. The handle scales are darker than the pins.

Sorry, I didn't see this post this morning. The Tufram Aluminum model has visible domed pins where the Ti model has flush ground steel pins, in case you didn't figure that out from the picture. Feel free to post that pic over there to illustrate. Also, the Ti Police has an ATS-34 blade rather than the G-2/GIN-1 of the Tufram model.

Hmm, not arguing, as I know you know more about this model than I do, but I am starting to wonder if I have the Tuffram Aluminum model after all. Mine has flush ground pins. It was listed as the Tuffram Aluminum model when I bought it cheap as a user. It IS lightweight. It has no steel markings on the blade.

So, what DO I have?
that is ONE ROCKING pic of Police & Rookie models up above, very nice, sweet collection!

That is the uncoated aluminum model.
Edit to add: The second knife from the left in my pic is an uncoated aluminum with no steel mark. The next one is uncoated with G-2 mark, the next is Tufram coated with G-2 mark and the next is Tufram coated with GIN-1 mark.

Thanks, but it is out of date. :o I've added a tie clip, a black (possibly aftermarket but I don't know how to tell) and a user (i.e. tip reground to shorten to legal) ATS-55 SS model since I shot that. :D

That is the uncoated aluminum model.
So that would make mine (if I'm reading the Spydiewiki chart right) the police 3 with an SKU of C07SA, correct? I believe he called it a C07ATU when I bought it. Not a big problem as I got it cheap ($40-$45) to use as a user, not a collectible.
I just like to have the right labels for my knives. :D

Police 2, not 3, but yes, C07SA would be correct. That's a really good price on the aluminum model. I've been told that a mint in box specimen would fetch well over $200.

Ah ok, it's listed in "other variations". That looks like it's a continuation of the "police 3 variations" at first. :o
Actually, this one could be mint except for all the carry marks on the handle. That and having no box. :D
Thanx for letting me know which one it really is. :)
