I need an expert on this

I recently picked up the Dec. issue of Blade.On page 47 in the bottom right hand corner is an advertisement for a sharpener.In this add there's a pic of a spydie I've not seen before.Looks like an Endura size blade but it has a micarta handle and it looks pretty tough.(Just thought there's one I had missed)

My spydersenses told me that spydie in question would probably be a Wayne Goddard with Micarta scales... <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

I believe you're right.I didn't know if it was since I didn't see the signiture on the blade.Tell me,are they still made?I know the LW models are being discontinued if I remember correctly.I may have to look into one after the knife appreciation fund replenishes after the holidays.Thanks Samo

Dude ~ My tingling spydersenses indicated that much of Wayne's custom-collaboration spydies have ceased production... Even a search function on Spyderco's new website could not register any hits. But you might have plenty of luck at the Spyderco Factory Outlet. I saw some of mr Goddard's fine pieces there while I was touring the States. The SFO is a goldmine for discontinued spydies and rare ones too!! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
