Sal, I know the scales are G10. Is the Pearl G10 as well? I really love the new Natives, they are just STUNNING!!! Do you plan on using the new Pearl material on any other upcoming models? Thanks, Ron......

Doesn't anyone have the answers to my question about what type of material is used to make up the Pearl inlay?

IIRC the pearl inlay is real pearl shell. At least I think that was what Sal said when the material first appeared on the Vesuvius at Blade.

Hi Ronybear. Sorry for the delay, been travelling.

The shell is indeed real shell. It is shaved very thin and then layered into a .007 sheet. The shell sheet (pearl or otherwise) is then laminated to a thin piece of G10. This provides a more durable piece and still retains the beauty of the shaved & layered shell.
