Actually kinda' to the side.

Everyday I'd pass the Spyderco Outlet store.

Having fancied myself a collector for the last twenty years I had knives from Cold Steel (none ever really worked out). Gerber, aside from the multi-tool none ever really worked. Schrade, some of the Old-timers served a purpose. SOG, none ever a very good "fit". Buck, as camp knives they worked never as an everyday carry. CRKT, made in Taiwan and never lived up to its potential. Kershaw, I enjoyed my Talon, I hope the guy who took it enjoys it. TOPS-Knives, a fine brush clearing tool, but who wants to carry 5# of steel daily?

And then I got My first Spyderco about a year ago...A Native SS/Non-Serrated. It was love at first site, a good fir, a great tool. From there a Harpy, Endura, and Police Model all in SS. I even got a Merlin for a friend of mine...

It is so good to find the right tool...

and to finally see the light.

Howdy Jenner! Welcome to Spyderland!

You're right, finding is kind of like trying on a new pair of glasses. You may have been okay with the old set, but then you notice what you've missed!

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Jenner 515,

Welcome to the forum. I think living that close to SFO would be very dangerous.
