I got a surprise today while doing some roof work with the father-in-law. I cut tar paper with my Delica SE and when I was done, the blade was DULL!! I keep a razor sharp edge on it, but this task seemed to just make that edge go Bye, Bye!
After some work with it on my 204, I was able to restore the keen edge that I'm used to.(Whew!) I think that next time, I'll just use one of my other cheapy knives because of this and I didn't like the tar residue that was left on the blade.
Have you ever lost that razor sharp edge in just about no time flat?? If you have, it's frustrating as heck, isn't it? Thank goodness for that VG-10 steel.
