I'm a newbie so excuse the probable repetition here. I have a "thuing" for Walker Alemite's and Cricket Alemites. It doesnt look like Spyderco will re introduce either. Anyone know of a retailer that may have some. I want them for user/carry purposes. Had one each and lost one gave the cricket to my daughter to carry.

Two sites you can try: eknifeworks.com or worldwideknives.com. Either one has some rare Spyders and just might have what you are seeking.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Try ebay. They occasionally pop up. I just recently picked up an Almite Walker there.

love the feel of my Tuffram cricket... thats right, it's not almite!

had this arguement WAY back, and then I went and looked at my box... sure enough, it says Tuffram!

love the feel of some weight, so I'm making SS scales for it...
thats right, a SS spydie with screws.

Good thing I still have 8 to spare... <img src=http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/372fcedb/bc/toys/samurai2.gif?bcDo_58A88UxWudf>

If you look for &quot;tuffram&quot; you won't find much.

The correct spelling is &quot;TufRam&quot;. It was a proprietary coating developed by either GE or Westinghouse IIRC. It was discontinued due to QC problems.
