I love living in Golden, the factory store had a deal where with any purchase over $150.00 you receive a free cricket. i went for the manix 2 and the yellow pacific salt with one of the most interesting steels, H1.

fyi, the cricket makes a great money clip as well, course living that close to Spyderco you may not have any money left :)

Using the Cricket as a money clip would make people think twice about trying to steal your cash!!!

It's the "downside" of living so close to Golden. I always feel like a kid in a candy shop. It's really difficult to not spend my entire life's savings every time i go...

there's VSE, velocity sports equipment, the makers of the "infinity"-rig up in colorado, pretty sure they're in golden too! now, if i've spent something like 3 grand on (yet) another new rig/skydivingsystem-thingy i wouldnt have cash left!

would still be nice to visit them guys sometime and tell them how awesome their knives are; as if they didnt knew already! :)
