About two weeks ago, I went out to meet some friends to see a band play. the band in question did not show up, so I got to see a clown play delta blues. really. A few songs later, I decide to call my girlfriend, who is still at work. She asked me to come by and see her, but the drive is really far, as she works across town. she pleads, i relent. I walk in, and she pours me a drink as they are closing up. I, my gf, and the dishwasher are the only ones there. I hear a noise, like a moan, and it doesn't register, my gf gets up from the chair next to me, and starts yelling just as i look up to see a .357 pointing at me, and a hooded criminal yelling"get the F up" I comply, and now we are all led to the back of the resturaunt. You see, we were in the front dining room, and the guy came through the doors from the kitchen. now, the dishwasher is prone, and they tell me to get him up, and for me to get into the office. they now put my gf into the freezer. At gunpoint, I am ordered to open up the safe, But I explain that I don't even work there. My gf is pulled back out of the freezer, and now she, i, and the 2 gunmen ate in a 6'x2' office. they pull me out, and into the freezer I go. soon we are all in the freezer, waiting to be shot, for about 10 minutes. the dishwasher opens the door, after yelling that his cellphone does not work in the freezer. they are gone. we got out relatively unscathed, except we are moving far far away. This kind of bs could happen to you. It's taken me a while to figure out wether to post this on here. I have tried to work it out a million different ways, but there was no other way besides cooperation to get everyone out alive. we are both competitive shooters, and the dishwasher is a convicted felon, who was screaming like a girl. anyway, I want you all to stop, and take a minute and look at your lives, because if you have regrets, you should fix that now. Thanks

I am glad to hear you and everyone else is ok. There just are some situations you can't be ready for within legal means.

Thanks for sharing that, Dijos:

A horrible story indeed, but it's good for us to be reminded not only that dangerous situations happen to potentially anyone (not just in movies or on the news) but also that just because we train to be able to handle bad situations physically, attempting to fight off a bad guy isn't necessarily the best choice in a given instance.

I'm happy no one was injured. Congratulations on keeping your composure under such circumstances. . .I can't imagine what that must've been like.

All the best,
Vince
