When *everyone* ignores it, it will go away. Because it only craves attention, it has no desire to interact with members of the board in any positive way. When you reply to it, no mater what you say, you are stroking it's ego and giving it what it wants.

Ignore it and it will go away, or pet it and it will stay, the choice it yours.
