I picked up my first Native(35/65, in GIN-1 steel) this past weekend. It's used, but still in excellent condition. I was able to talk the seller down to $30, from $45!!
Excellent ergonomics on this knife. I've never handled a blade with such a secure grip as this. The edge needed some work, due to a poor choice in sharpeners that the previous owner had used. The serration tips are somewhat worn, but not too bad. After some work with my 204, you would have thought that it was a brand new knife.
That Native is my new EDC, until my Mili arrives....someday soon, I hope. But even then, it won't ever be too far from me. There may be times when serrations would be more appropriate for the task at hand, right?
Of course, I will HAVE to get a new model Native (CPM440V) in Plainedge, too.
