Military clip

I just got the ss clip for my milli.The screw on the top of the triangle will not tighten good,acts like it just bearly catches hold of the liner.Is there any thing that can be done to correct this?

Simple. Take the three screws out and see if the center one is shorter than the others. Try rotating the screws around to find a better fit.

That would work if the screw was grabing enough treads.The screw needs to be about three treads longer.It is holding for now with some clear nail polish.

Got it fixed.I done some swaping around on some of my others until I found one that would work.BTW it only needed to be about a thread and 1/2 longer.the one out of the Vesuvius was 3 threads longer and was to long.
