Hi Fozzy. We've never made any blue Jesters for sale in the US. I'll have to check with our maker, who is also our distributor in Japan on his inventory for Japan.

Fozzy,
I just checked the Hamonoichiba web site and they show PE and SE Jesters in Black,Blue,Red,Pink(probably the Fuschia) and (lime) green. I have purchased twice from them with credit card transactions. I can answer any questions about ordering from them if you like. I wasn't planning another order soon since I've acquired the unique one's that I wanted for trading.

Here is the webpage that I was last given that summarizes the Spyderco offerings, Cost(in Japanese Yen) and stock status.

How do you order from these people? and how do you figure out what the price is?
Also how high is shipping? They have several I've been searching for.

Raden,
I followed 3 steps the last time around.

1. Using the 'part numbers' from the web page I sent an email (info@hamonoichiba.com)to verify quantity and Cost.

2. Once confirmed by Hamonoichiba and I agreed that is what I wanted to buy.

3. Send a facimilie of my credit card information to their fax number. (actually the second time around they reused the same number).

Once they get card approval they ship the merchandise.

As far as your other questions. Their prices are in Japanese Yen. Use xe.com for exchange rates. Remember these can fluctuate and will vary daily, but it'll give you an excellent idea of the cost. Shipping has been the best surprise. My last order was 7 knives (6 crickets and 1 endura) and the shipping came out to $11.50 and I had it within a week.

I hope this helps.

Sal,

I would love a couple of the blue Jesters. I have several of the current colors and they are wonderful little knives.

Boxer,

WOW there is a lot of cool stuff on that site.... Good thing that my tax refund check has not come in yet!!!

Danny:
Good to see you up and about. I can order the blue for you later this month if you want. (I owe you for the Lafitte's blend)

Everyone else : Cool translation page on the web at: http://translation.langenberg.com

This little critter will digest and spit out almost everything on the Hamonoichiba page in real US of A English for you....and it's free. I experienced what some folks have taken to calling Japlish when I was stationed in Okinawa and some of that shows up here a bit so watch out for a couple of wacky translations. Out of stock translates to something like "In manufacturers waste bin".

For vivid human life! Let's together!
(Japlish printed on Termos jug from Japan)

Our Distributor in Japan is offering both blue and red Jesters. They are the same blue and red being used on the Ladybugs. We have elected not to offer that blue or that red in the Jester pattern. If the Jester pattern is well received, we mgith add more colors, but they would be more in the "off colors" and brighter, like the current Jesters.
