Good mercy its been a long time!

Greetings!

Ah, where to start.....Well, I must say that I missed you all very much. Its like family here on the Forum, and I've felt like I haven't "seen" you guys in such a dreadful long time.(How you doing, ATE? I hope things are going better for you!)

I know, I know....I will explain my somewhat mysterious departure: If you all remember back a few months, there was that "Mystry Poster" (or Imposter?!) that had everyone going for a while. Well, to make a long story short, I felt that I acted out of line on that one and "put my foot in my mouth" so to speak. (Check out that thread and you'll see that I edited my reply.) Anyway, I thought that it would be a good time to take a short leave of the Forum and see what else Life had to offer. Of course Spring Term was just coming to a halt at the University, and so I had those marvelous finals to study up for. () But just as I was ready to jump back into the swing of things, the unique member KnifePunk joined the fray. (Er, Forum.) I thought that it would settle down after a few days, and the storm would pass. But, the more I watched, the longer the event seemed to stretch on. It was quite a thing to watch, let me tell you!;P So I decided to just "lurk" for a while longer, and wait out the waves. To answer that question in your mind, yes, I was here "lurking" all along. (You couldn't pull me away from this Forum with a Silverado 1 ton! LOL.) I made a deal with myself that when the "Noble Lady Kahz" logged back on, then I would join the family once again. (Waving to Kahz )

I have seen many interesting things during my time away, and seen some new faces too.And, yep, I'm signed up for the Glasshartt Special as well. A Delica 50/50 with that totally awesome web design. BTW, I have managed to keep my Spydie habit alive and well. Since my departure, I've picked up the following knives:

* "Spur" in 40/60 edge

* Centofante in PE

* Micarta Jester

* Pink FRN Jester (for a *friend*)

* Q in PE (Got it for $25 bucks!!)

And today, I orderd my first Military from Linda. (Drumroll, please!) I also am thinking about getting a Pride USA here shortly. I also have a Ladybug on order, as well as a CoPilot from SMKW. Yes, I am still a die-hard Spydie fan!

My brother has also succumbed to the Spydie virus, and has managed to latch onto a rare SS Rescue model, as well as the LAST Massad Ayoob from SMKW. (My sister also bought a Pink Jester from SMKW.) Muahahaha! I just luv' it when people are taken by the Plague! I have at least 4 of my cousin's friends waiting in line for a Spyderco. These are the same people that wouldn't even TOUCH a knife, let alone own one. Then I pulled a Spydie out of my pocket and it was all over.....hee hee!

I could go on and on with my saga of this past few months, but I'll spare you guys from that fiddle faddle. Its just GREAT to be back.

Now, let me say

Knife Punk,

and all the rest of you new Forumites! Its great to have you aboard!

KP,

Way to rock, Dude! Keep on postin', and askin' those good quesions.

I'm sorry if I missed someone, but let me say that I'm glad you're here. If you all need anything, just give me a holler. I'll come running, I promise.

Kahz,

Where ya' been, you old Mouse fan, you?! Things haven't been the same without you! Hee hee!

Well, I guess I'd better end this rather long epistle. Thanks for reading this, folks!

YOU GUYS ROCK!

Overjoyed to be back,

Michael (aka. Spydernut)

Hey SpyderNut :

Welcommen! I'm still here with the "others"
It's good to see your interest(s) aren't as
parochial as mine I myself never made it to college. Couldn't aspire to letters and higher education, but am glad there are some who(m) CAN. At 39, I make one recommendation to you : don't "throw away" your life! STAY
in school, and get that "sheepskin" that is a tenet of the workforce of the millenium
Welcome back SpyderNut ( & of course, Kahz!)

So many Spydies, So little money!

Howdy SpyderNut! Welcome back!

For next time you follow the age-old directions of "Open mouth, insert foot", I have prepared a treatment for you.

1.) Step away from computer, take a deep breath.
2.) Grasp monitor in both hands.
3.) Firmly headbutt screen. Repeat until stress is relieved, or unconsiousness takes over.

Warning- May cause bleeding, bruising, destruction of computer, alien abduction, ulcers, poor penmanship, headaches, and temporary loss of vision.

That's my professional prescription, that'll be $197.50.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.
