Would it be possible to give the clip on the new Herbst a similar treatment to the original Centofante Jr (sandblast?). I think it would match the colour of the Aluminium scales on the Herbst pretty well and is much less noticeable than a silver clip. Just a thought, not trying to cause trouble <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>.

Fair enough Sal. If I manage to save enough to buy a Herbst I might even give it a go myself. However my wife is expecting our third child in April so my knife buying is going to be restricted for a while, not to mention any thoughts of an early retirement <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>. A local engraver has just sandblasted a &quot;chai&quot; on my refurbished plain edge worker to remind me of James. The colour and texture look as though it would go really well with the Herbst and I would imagine his machine would be able to handle a small object like a clip.
