At 1.6 oz., it's virtually an anti-gravity knife.

Amazing. No comments on this from 7:11am posting to 4:25pm. Do people not like this little guy? Im buying to throw in my shaving kit so I always have something when I travel that wont get me in trouble in most anyplace!!

Very nice addition for those living under tight knife restrictions. BTW, there's a typo on the product page. I doubt that the blade is 79mm thick.

79mm ?

Not quite, but it is substantial at 3.0mm. It's a tough little Slipit. Legal, socially and politically correct.

Thanx for the heads-up on the typo.

Sal,

You're welcome. I figured that 79mm would be a bit tough on my pockets. :)

BTW, you left 'ecumenically' out of your list of "corrects". :D

I've been looking forward to this one a bit myself...kinda on a buying halt of sorts...but I wouldn't mind grabbing one of these if I can. Can anyone shed light on the corrosion resistence of the new steel?

79mm thick was a hair or two off... :) Thanks again for letting us know. I fixed it to show the correct thickness of 3mm.

Velcome. For a second when I first saw it, I thought that Spyderco might be taking robustness to a new level - a knife that also stops anti-tank rounds. ;)

No Panama!

I could see a Spyderco/Strider collaboration being 79mm thick...

Thanks Sal,
I really like this practicle little slipjoint, of which I find Myself carrying more and more. I also like this bladesteel, for it's corrosion resistance. My first knife with Bohler steel was the Wilson Arms ELC which I believe was made in Italy, by Fox knives, can I assume this was also made by Fox?. Glad You used this steel and good choice to have it made in Italy, where they love this steel.
Thanks so much,
Charlie

Hi Charlie,

Thanx much for the knid words. Yes, Fox is working with Spyderco on the Squeak. They are doing a very nice job.
