When you wish to post those symbols simply type in:
} { without the space (those are the shift alternative to the square brackets)

the samuri pic is done by:
&lt;img src=&quot; &quot;&gt;
and putting the chosen pic inside. for example, you can do the bug by putting http:\spyderco.com/forum/spyder.gif inside the &quot; &quot;.

Type that exactly how it is in that pic.

On of those less than signs,img src, space between the IMG and SRC and then an equals sign and a quotation mark, then the URL of the image, then a quatation mark, then a greater than sign.

I think you need a http:// after the first quotation mark..this post is a test to see...if the image above is a red X, you do. <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

EDIT:

OK so where the first quotation ends, add http:// to the URL.
