I just realized that the s/s Delica uses the older 2 3/4" blade, compared to the longer 3" blade of the FRN model after looking through the current catalogue. Very interesting, I had never noticed this.

Good eye, Jeff. I guess I never had one side by side to see the difference. I wish that the S/S version would come in VG-10. I mean, AUS-6 is ok, but it really doesn't hold a candle to the VG.

Yeah, I'd like to see different blade steel too. If it were in VG-10, I'd have one in an instant. Also, I would prefer the newer, larger blade style. I really like the handle style of the old Delica's, but I like the new blade design better.
