I want one. I have for a long time, and lately I've been thinking more and more about this knife. I just can't seem to get it out of my head...sound familiar to anyone here? Grin.

Here's a picture of the object of my desire...

Thanks, Jeff/1911.

Pachucko,

Do you think that this model needs liners? How would you describe the strength and rigidity of this variant of Police knife without any liners, assuming you have had the opportunity to handle one?

Plain edged, G-10 Polices are also for sale at eknifeworks.com for $138.99. I'm not sure if it's hollow grind, but it's possible.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

If you are interested we still have a few Police C07G (G10)on closeout.

We are down to two plain early or hollow grind, two plain flat grind and four serrated early or hollow grind.

Don't pay me too much attention. BSC is right. Its my standard diatribe. Most knives need double liners.
Who started that thread about a standard Police with a thin layer of G-10 over the steel handles? Isn't this basically the same thing (ie. G-10 handles with steel liners) only better because it would be lighter?

Pachucko,

That would be me, who started the "s/s Police w/ thin G-10 on top" thread.

I think that would be a great knife alright, and I'm now just trying to determine about this particular "old style" G-10 Police, the one they made with no liners. Sounds like the only concern with this design is the issue of clip screws and their "bite".
