civilian knife

i want a civilian knife but dont know how much to buy it for. I know the spyderco civilian knife is rare but i know 1 store in my state that still has a civilian knife in it for $200 but i see cheaper ones on the internet on ebay. I wanted to have other options on my purchase. should i go with the one i know is new and real or trust someone i don't know for a cheaper price. Someone please help.

Hi Tw2k1. Welcome to the Spyderco forum. I can't help you with finding them, but I can tell you that there have been 3 different handle variations. Aluminum, aluminum with Tuffram coating, G10. There were a few made with plain edge, but they are rare.
