G10 Police configurations

I recently purchased a G10 Police with full Spyderedge. Upon drooling over my new kife, I noticed that the different aspects of it seem sort of different than any I've seen for sale.



It has G10 handles with clip and a fully serrated ATS-55 blade. The blade has no false edge and what seems special about it is that it has a full flat grind, NOT sabre. Also, it has no Boye dent.



I was hoping if anyone could tell me how many of this kind were made by Spyderco. Is it a rare config.?

I was also wondering at least when Spyderco was still making them like this one.

Welcome to the Forum ~ Sultan of Swing, from somewhere up Yellow Brick Road! Great choice of Knife!. The Police G-10 model you have with the flat grind blade was the latest version, then they added the Boye dent before discontinuing them as they weren't selling well. You can still pick the older hollow ground models from some online shops like John Jensen.
