There is a change in the quantity of CF Civvies being made. From 500 to 1200.

We learned when ordering began that 500 would not be enough. If 100 (half) collectors order all variations (4), that's 80% of the run. After Spyderco crew, there would not be any available for anyone else.

I do not believe that this change will affect the long term value of the piece.

Thank you for your kind understanding to this change.

Ahhhh, well... If it ain't a CF-Civvie, it ain't a collector's piece... No worries Sal, I'll go with the programme! When are the knives available and how much will it be priced?

Ronybear. the ratio will remain the same. 1/2 plain - 1/2 with teeth - 10% of each left handed.

cleverclutch, I'm not Sal, but I do own 2 LH PE CF Civies, one of which bears collectors #162V and another that is un-numbered. The number indicates that knife was originally ordered by the member of the collectors club who had that number. There could very well be LH SE, RH PE, and RH SE CF Civies with the same number out there somewhere as well. Remember that while the number is unique within a given variant, it is not a true serial number, that is to say the existence of 162V does not imply the existence of any particular number below 162, only that collector #162 was signed up for the variants. This is an interesting thread, glad you resurected it. Funny I just noticed for the first time how modest Sal is, "registered user", if that ain't the understatement of the year.
