Saw the perrin blade at the NY custom show last month! AWESOME!!! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> Can't say much wether it'll be a neck knife 'cos it was sizeable... *hee-hee!* <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

The prototype I saw had the basic lines of a Perrin Street Bowie but in a larger package. (See http://www.bladeart.com/artists/fred_perrin/fred_perrin_street_bowie.htm for a couple of custom Street Bowie NK pics.) With a 5" blade & OAL of 9 1/4", it is a bit too big to be considered a candidate for carry around my neck. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> The handle construction is similar to that of the Moran, FRN with a kraton insert.
I think it's a definite winner & hope it makes it from prototype to production stage with all due haste.
