Trip to Tokyo - The Edge knife shop

Last monday I was called to Tokyo for an unexpected business trip.

We arrived thursday morning, did some work and yes, after a crazy taxi journey thursday evening at 18:45 I stood before the knife-shop 'The Edge' in Shibuya. (it closes at 19:00...)

I missed it the last time I was in Tokyo and I sure didn't want to miss it this time.

Well, they sure have a lot of knives. I didn't have time to take pictures, but I bought 4 Q's (SE Stripe pattern, SE US Flag, PE Spyder, PE G Sakai) for trading purposes (Boxer93, check your mail!).

They also had Sebenza's and I got to handle the large one. I will get one now for sure!!! They also had a large Wegner with Titanium handles and a Damascus blade. WOW WHAT A KNIFE! $900 !!!!.

Well, hopefully I'll get another chance to visit it this week and hopefully I can take some pictures.

Congrats on the pilgrimage, Ted! I walked around the Cerulean Tower twice looking for it when I first visited.

It's one of my favorite stops in Tokyo. They have some great undiscovered treasures.
Don't buy everything, I'll be back there in October!

D'oh! I knew that I should have bought more than 1 'Q' when I was there! Oh well, he still has the carbon-fiber Walker.

Man I do need one of those engraved dragonfly's, but I spent my latest installment on a Kiwi! It's very sweet. I'll post a review after a bit more use.
