Just picked one of these up Saturday. Had been looking at them for a couple of months but wanted a ti frame with the plain edge. Finally got one in at the knife shop and now it is in my pocket, sans clip. It rides in my left front as my do-everything folder from cutting string, tape, cardboard, and the like, to being loaned out when someone ask to borrow a knife. I will not hand over a custom Kit Carson/Les Robertson folder for ANYONE to use, except me of course!

The Salsa rides well being as flat as it is. I really like the cobra hood opener and would like to see it on more offerings. The compression lock justs reeks with confidence!

It is quite easy for me to manipulate it also.

It cost me right around $100.00 but I feel like I got a good deal. The aluminum Salsa's were close to $60.00 so forty more for titanium seemed reasonable enough!

Diddo.... Spyderco did a great job on this knife. Only thing I would change is the clip. Should be a bit more stout to match the rest of the knife.

Other than that, I'm sure you will enjoy it tremendously.

Nice snag Art. I paid less than $100, but add in shipping. I've had mine now as my work EDC for many months and I love it. I've even disassembled once <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I like the feel of the Titanium as well as everything you mentioned. Plus with it's open construction you'll be able to clean it well with all the lint it'll be picking up.
