Got my Flat-Ground Large Chris Reeve Sebenza today in the mail. What a knife! This one should keep my cured sometime now. If it wasn't for the knife, it would be for the money and 's I spend on it... ouch... but, no regret!

Anyway, my last Spyderco (famous words ) will arive soon (PE G-10 Standard) and then it should be enough...

...uuhh... anybody have an update on the para-military?

Till soon,

Ted

Seb's aren't too bad, I'll give ya that! However, I simply can't justify a $300 anything at this moment, much less a knife I can't beat the NFBSK out of.

Enjoy, we'll be waiting for your return!

Never underestimate the impossible.

Ted,

Congrats on the Sebbie but as you have just learned, the treatment can be worse than the disease!

Found the cure!!? Let's see your research on this. Remissions of this type often prove temporary in nature and the relapse is often more acute than the initial infection! Last Spyderco!? No such animal. Your denial is futile especially in light of your closing question! The Resplendent One (S&S) and I eagerly await your return to the SATC.

Ted, I gotta go with Java on this one. I thought the same thing when I shelled out the hard earned bucks for my Sebenza. Read soo much about them, handled one and had to have it. I didn't buy any other folders for quite some time, almost a year. The fever comes back and the Sebenza is just one more knife in my EDC rotation.

I just love Spyderco products and I have almost given up on spending money on BM or other companies. They do sneek in from time to time but it isn't very often.

I think I want one but I haven't tried very hard to get one.I am afraid that I might get hooked on them and have to sell some body parts to feed the need.

Ted - Congrats on the aquisition of what must be one fine knife. I have never seen one (other than pics) so hopefully I am safe from that plunge for a while. Besides, I do have more spydies on my shopping list before I buy something that will bring me to financial ruin.
What am I talking about, Spyderco has already brought about my financial colapse, or perhaps I should say, brought my financial spending into a particularly sharp focus .

Congrats on your purchase Ted....like others here, I too tried the Sebenza cure, and like Mr Watson jumped straight back to Spyderco!

A Sebenza.. Mmmmm... Almost as pricey as a handmade or custom knife.. Takes a lot to actually own one.. Especially when you have to pay four times as much! I'll stick to my s because they are worthier than some pricey knives..

oooh, $#%^$#%$#^$#$#

...cursing un-cure-able spyderco bugs...

Just got my 'last' , a plain G-10 Standard in the mail. Had it on order before the Sebenza arrived...
And this is one fine knife!

Nice heavy and solid feel due to the steel liner, pointy blade, good grips. Low-profile tip-down carry with black clip.

Now of course I need to get a serrated one.

And since the frame/integral lock combined with titanium is so nice on the Sebenza, I also need to get a Ti Salsa
