Couple of Wegner Questions

Did the Wegner receive the eccentric pivot upgrade that the Military and Viele received?



Is the Wegner ATS-34 blade seemer harder to sharpen on the 204 than other Spydies? I realize there are too many variables for a definitive answer to this question. Seems the Native (CPM blade), Rookie (ATS55) and Military (CPM blade) sharpen up razor sharp which many less strokes on the 204 than Wegner.

Hi Ceg. The Wegner has not yet received any refinements.

I don't know why your Wegner is harder to sharpen. It shouldn't be. Perhaps geometry? Do you have a lupe? 8X - 12X works best. It will permit you to take a closer look at the edge to "see" what's really happening.

Well I obtained a lupe and examined the edge and believe I've figured out what's happening. It's a geomtry problem - geometry of my arm!

It appears that I'm not keeping the Wegner vertical while using the 204. Looks like I'm keeping slightly tilted to the right.

For me, the Military and Native seem easier to keep vertical and the edge shows. Maybe cause I can &quot;choke&quot; up on the blade?

Oh well problem solved....
