I guess you just use that english link for spyderco's..
does that mean none of you can read anything else on the site?
And what's the conversion factor, to USD?
Thanks.

midget - I just completed my first order from Hamonoichiba - and expect my knives to arrive in about a week.
Use the english web page, follow the link that says "order method"
I emailed Mr. Naohiko Hagesawa at "nao117@mvj.biglobe.ne.jp"
with the info he asked for on the "order method" page. I cut and pasted the descriptions and prices of the knifes from his english page into the email. I don't have a fax - which he asks for, but he worked out a way for me to order without using a fax. The process was very easy from start to finish. Tell him your friends from the Spyderco forum referred you to him.
You can go to this web page "http://www.xe.com" to do the conversions from USD to YEN.
Both java and Al were helpful in encouraging to me to order form there. java gave me the email address (which I didn't find on the web site)
Good luck.

Midget,
Chuck's got the Official Hamonoichiba Game Play book down well. Generally figure on the Yen rate hovering around 120Y to 1.00 USD. Naohiko uses the Samurai version of FedEx (Emery or DHL) and it runs an additional 9 - 10 USD. Usually takes about 5 days from date of order to Tejas. Best of luck on your Far East shopping binge!!!

Happy shopping wee man!...I myself just received two small Blue Ladybugs in PE from the honourable Mr Hasegawa, which is rarer than the sight of Java sipping a cuppa tea!

Al - Looking at the pic of the ladybugs, I don't see any difference between #s 1,2, and 3. Do you know? and can you splain to me?
