Thanx to boxer93 and all the rest who have helped me find another knife to add to my small collection. all it took was one call to john f jenson and my Police will be here on tuesday!
He has one left so you better give him a call, or you might end up spending more for the same knife overseas....
Thanx again
now where can i find a G-10 Harpy?

Welcome to forum with the nicest buncha guys and gals around, just bear in mind you simply can't stop once you start buying the brand.
ME i'm way outta control already, 90% of my collection has been swapped now for s.
I see no end to this and no cure avalible, each 1 you buy will turn into your favorite (until the next 1).
As to the G-10 Harpy, every tuesday i visit my local dealer, he carries tons of discontinued Spydie's i'll be happy to check for you and take you a digital pic, if i find what you want i can buy it for you and ship it to you via USPS 2-3 day mail.
That goes for any of my fellow forumite pals, many have helped me and i'd be happy to return the favor.Ron

Well guys i got the knife yesterday and as i sat in my office and opened it i was shocked at how wicked the blade looked and the overall apperance that i closed it for fear of someone walking by and seeing such an evil knife!
to say the least i am in love with the Police and already have plans on picking up a Native
thanx to johnfjennings(sp) for having it laying around
does anyone know where i could send my knife to have a David Boyle dent put on it(my version does not have it)?

There were a small batch of g10 police that were accidentaly released with the hollow ground blade from the ss police. The grind on the g10 variant is supposed to be full flat.

gouinothing,
Glad I could help in some way. Also heed sc_rebel1957's advice. I started with a Q. Then I bought others to trade for Q's. Then I bought newer ones to use. Then I bought newer ones to trade. Then, aw h***, I'm ready for my room now. I hope the SATC is open late.

Gouinothing,
It's pretty easy to put in your own "Boye dent" if you have a padded vice and a Dremmel Moto-tool, with a couple of the little sanding drums. I have a "non-Boye dent" stainless Delica on the way (from a recent trade) that I'm planning on doing that to.

G, i'd be happy to do it for you if you don't want to risk it yourself.
But Glock is right it's fairly simple to do, only tricky part is not to go too deep so it won't unlock easily. Ron

I wasn't aware that the hollow-ground G-10 Police mod's were unintentional...I just thought they were the initial issue without a liner on the clip side, and the old-style clip. The flat ground mod's have the liner and the C shaped clip around pivot pin. Now, the flat grind has been dropped (as has the G-10 on Police).
