To : ALL

I was under the impression it was a

species of bird (now extinct) but

the "buzz" I hear on BOTH this &

the "other" forum would indicate a

new breed of Spydie (anyone care to

"enlighten" me to this?)

Found this on BF:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=1598689&highlight=dodo#po st1598689

The "Dodo" is an "in house" name for a new 2.25" blade knife that was designed with the "Ball Lock".

That's all I could find...

I saw a proto at the Spirit of Steel show, and it's a recurved short but wide blade, with a large handle. I really like the concept, since I often want a small blade, but still want plenty of handle for gripping. Such knives look strange to some people, but I believe form should follow function.

I'm with you Rex. Form should follow function. A 2.25 inch wide blade. Key word: WIDE. That is the biggest thing that puts me off on most smaller knives. Skinny little blades and skinny little handles. I'd be afraid I'd break it the first time I used it. The "DoDo sounds interesting. Can't wait to see it.

I've heard one other thing about it, not sure if it's truth or not(don't have a dealer's cat to confirm anything):

designed by ERIC Glessar(Sal's son)

And shepherds we shall be, for thee my lord for thee. Power hath decended forth from thy hand so our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. And we shall flow a river forth to thee and teaming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, Et Filii, Et Spiritus Sancti.
