for the past few weeks i've been feeling kind of down. last night i didn't feel especially great cause i knew i had to pay for tuition today and that it would tap me out. and seeing all of these lovely spidies that are either in existence or soon to be in existence available and me not having to proper fundage.... made me sad. so, i decided to make a post and lament my position. and who did reply but the ever so generous ATE. i was informed that i had a (and i quote) "SERIOUS CASE of e-mail." i just about had a heart attack right then and there. so i went to my mail and sure enough.... there was an offer i couldn't refuse. a new spyderhawk! *jumps up and runs around room a few times due to excitement* i didn't know what to say. all i can say is... thank you Al. words cannot describe how greatful i am. you generosity never ceases to amaze me. i agree with your philosophy of "SPIDIES FOR ALL!!!" God bless you Al. may your days be long and your knives be many. this act of kindness has truly lifted my spirits and i eagerly await the arrival of my new thanks again

I know the feelin' of wanting somethin'

BADLY (especially SYPDIES!) and not

havin' the "mammon" but Jesus "set

the example for me.."(paraphrased AET)

It is at this time of the season ( I'm

NOT talkin' about my favorite song by

the zombies (that was 1969 gang!)

This forum, and those who(m) frequent

it (for better & worse) have given me

an invaluable outlet for my idea(s), my

feelings, my philosophy & a place to

discuss my favorite knives : <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>'s!

It's not many a knife manufacturer that

offers this (if only on

Bladeforums.com) independantly.

The REAL thanx for "giving" go to the

Saviour of the World, Jesus ( JN 1:29)

The REAL thanx for this forum,

forumite(s) who(m) frequent it & the

knives that "bring it all together"

( and thus, US ) goes to Sal Glesser

and the good people that make up <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>.

( I mention the ones I KNOW of : Mike

Hayes, Joyce Laituri & Peter Jhones

(not necessarily in THAT order)

I say, forumite(s) We remember each

other in Our own way during this

"giving" season ; and if one has

nothing "material" to give, post a

"new topic" ( or respond to one

unanswered one ; I try to do this

whenever I can ) and welcome every

newbie that comes to us ( MTW 25:38 )

and that, whence we do good deeds, not

BLAB them ALL over the forum (MTW 6:2)

And forumite(s) ALL, remember what

Jesus & The Almighty father commanded

(MTW 23:39 ) This, is what I stand

for, and am NOT ashamed of it.

ATE=Santa Claus? I think so! That was a generous thing you did ATE. Good job.

Sven, enjoy that new knife.

Allen, I agree with your idea about answering those "unanswered" posts, a very kind thought. Bless you for your ongoing kindness to others, you set a great example for us all. I think I understand your joy at giving these knives, as I have had the opportunity to pass along two of my cherished Spydies to my young nephew, who now carries and uses them both daily. What fun!

All the very best, Jeff/1911.

jeff,
oh, you bet i will. this blade will see quite a bit of pocket time. i wanted something like that. the merlin is too small and the matriarch and civie are not designed for utility so the hawk is perfect. a happy meduim between the two. and it just looks so darn cool.

You stand corrected. JESUS is THE MAN!

But, in another sense, Alex, you ARE

right, God HAS Blessed me ( with ALL of

you forumite(s)! (And my Spydies)
