lock problems

This may be a FAQ but I have an early model Endura Great knife but the lock doesn't seem very secure when put pressure on the top of the blade in the open position the lock mechanism and grooves are all clean. is this a generic problem or was there a prob. with the early plastic clip enduras?

Does the lock defeat (close when you don't release the lock?) I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are experienceing. Sorry you are having a problem.

The Endura has been a secure reliable model from inception, so there were no particular problems with the model. Need more input.
