Ok my kid had to have the orange handled Rescue N/P Linda had it here by christmas eve, yesterday he comes in and says hey I broke it.
Looking at the knife he has about .01 mm broken off the very tip, I ask howd you do it, he says opening boxes and hit a roll of wire, knowing this kid as I do that couldn't be the only reason, then the story changed to "I may have done it stripping wire"
After a disgusted sour taste in my mouth I explained that VG-10 was very hard and not meant to strip wire (he's a cable guy) I reprofiled the tip making the point end on a deep serration.
