I finally got my Spyderco Bob Lum Chinese Folder!!!! (doing spyderco happy dance!!!)

I've only been waiting for about 2 years and 6 months. That's all. But now it's in my pocket!!

Its a plain edge, #27. It is sooo sweet!! If ya don't have one, get one!!

I want to say "Thanks" to Spyderco and Bob Lum.

And also a "Thanks" to Patsy at Beck's Cutlery for getting one for me, and holding it till I could make it back to her store.

Well I can't seem to post, so I had to edit.

Clay its been 932 days or so, but who's counting. I sold my collection of "Fighting Knives" to get mine. It was well worth it!!

I'm happy for you, but sad at the same time, cause I have not yet gotten my hand on one
But sooner or later, I will!!

Me too: I haven't been able to locate a plain-edged one yet. Think I'll buy a Mouse while I wait for one to turn up.

Darn it Blades you beat me to it . I have one on the way from NCBlades. I had to sell my Blanchard Pro-Venator to find the money but it'll be worth it to finally have one after all this time. Is it only 2 1/2 years? Seems much, much longer. Anyway I hope the pleasure you get from it will make the wait worthwhile.

I received mine a couple of weeks ago and I carry it every day. I replaced a Benchmade Osborne, because the Lum is so thin that with the clip moved to the tail it fits in the waist band of my suit. Some one made mention on the BladeForum site that is so sharp that it's shadow will cut. They were right. Mine is # 464 and as soon as I can get an unumbered model I'll retire it to my collection. Ihave enclosed PICs and also another of my most favorite Spydies. The Wegner Alaska Model.

Hey Lbwheat. Welcome to the Spyderco forum. Glad you could find your way over here.

Thanx for the kind words. Everyone involved in that model did a great job.
