I picked a Ayoob today from the SFO, #486. They had both spyderedge and plain. I prefer Spydercos with teeth so I choose serrated. It is a very beautiful, nasty and strange knife. The black almite handle is very attractive and seems strong and light. It is tip down which I prefer but it has holes on both sides making it possible for left side carry. Closed the knife is elegant enough to be a gentleman's knife. Open and it will frighten sheeple. The serrations run almost to the end of the vg-10 blade and make for a pretty intimidating knife. Definitely not a knife for everyone. It is going to be my primary carry in till the combo edge gunting comes out. I have had fun playing with my gunting trainer but now I am ready for the real thing.

Hey Spy De,
I handled the Ayoob back on Tuesday at SFO. A very SWEET knife. I like the angle the blade takes out of the handle. I'm going to wait though to see if Sal interprets this one one in G10 or even FRN. The Almite adds sophistication but is too slippery.
