hello im considering the rescue jr, but it's going to be replaced by the 'assist' from what ive heard which includes a glass-breaker.

does anyone know the size/weight on this? i'd like to know if it's bigger/heavier than the rescue jr.

any other info, pictures etc appreciated since im about to order the rescue jr and want to make up my mind if i should wait for the new model

thanks.

The easy answer is to have several Rescue-type knives around. Maybe it's because of my job (police officer) and some of my outdoors hobbies, but between my wife and myself I have lost count of how many Rescues, Rescue Juniors, Snap-its, and such are around the house and in our vehicles. I do know that I only have one 93mm so far. This trend goes back to the Mariner I bought in the 80's. I feel strange if a good emergency blade or two is not within easy reach at all times.
