Hello *@*,
I have a question regarding the latest Endura modell with FRN handles and a plain edge:
Am I right that the 2002 model has a (partly) flat ground blade (as opposed to hollow grinds in earlier models)? Furthermore I would like to know if the edge in the PE model is chisel ground or is it a 'real' edge (which I would greatly prefer)?
Thanks for your help!

I do believe the new Endura has a full flat grind, but I'll check my catalog to be certain. Also, it is a double-ground edge, honed on both sides. No chisel grind here!
Never underestimate the impossible.

The catalog says its Flat grind but the pic looks to be Sabre grind.

Probably the best way to describe the new Endura/Delica is a flat saber grind, as opposed to the previous hollow saber grind.

more or less, the only real diff in the grind from the regular hollow grind, is that the final grind is flat, rather than concave. The initial shaping(which defines flat vs hollow vs convex) is still "hollow"

Welcome aboard Connor!
I was always wondered if it really feels any difference between a hollow grind and a flat one in every day cutting chores...

I haven't played with the "new" sabre grind... but I'll assume here and say it'll act like a hollow grind in use, due to the fact that it thickens up at midblade.
