Any word from Samo & the volcano?

Samo is just fine. Spoke to him a couple of days ago, but what's "the volcano"?

A volcano erupted near where samo is. (I believe). Looked pretty bad on the national news.

I hope Samo is okay too. Could be the volcano affected the power lines and he is unable to use his computer.

Scientists closely monitored the rumbling
Mount Merapi volcano on Wednesday as
ash and lava flows threatened
surrounding farms and villages.
Authorities around the peak, in the heart
of densely populated Java island, have
ordered hundreds of thousands of people
to prepare for evacuation.
Clouds of scorching poisonous gas
billowed from the crater, while red hot rocks slowly carved out a trail down the
mountainside.
Volcanologist Syamsul Rizal said seismographs were registering less activity than over the last few days, but warned people to stay alert.
"No one knows what is going to occur," he said. "The current level of activity
could go on for weeks or something big could happen tomorrow."

Phew! That was SOME volcano!! <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> Saw it on the news too!! I'm fine here John!! Muchas Gracias for being such a sport!! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> I was actually fishing at the streams over the weekend and was cut off from civilization... The only misfortune I've encountered, was some stolen spydies, passport and gear. This means -- I won't be able to make it to the blade show in June <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
