It's a Wegner jr with plain edge. Does anybody know if I can get this knife somewhere. And why is it discontinued. It seems perfect.

And I agree, the Weg's are durn near perfect.

Try "discountknives.com" they still list the model C49 in plain and partially serrated as available.

Hi Dick. Welcome to the Spyderco forum. sorry for our disapointment.

In reality, Spyderco has made and discontinued many models over the years and will more than likely continue to do so.

The "market" is always looking for something new. It is not possible to continue to come out with new models without dropping off older models.
