Police Model Question

After recently receiving my Plain Edge G10 Police Model, I just have a quick question.

Most of the Spyderco catalogues I have read have stated that the Police model has "a distinctive grind atop the hollow-ground blade" but the Police model that I received does not. The blade surface is completely flat.

I notice that the picture of the G10 Plain Edge Police on the Spyderco online catalogue is also missing this "distinctive grind", whereas other online stores have pictures of the Police with it.

I was just wondering what the differences were, and whether one version is earlier or has been discontinued.

I'm sure some of you guys can put me right.

To my knowledge, that is the new Police G-10 Plain edge. It is flat-ground and without the grind on top of the blade (probably not enough blade material to make it feasable.)
The Spyderedge Police G-10 is still hollow-ground and includes the top grind.
